The Mobile Revolution
By mid 2015, 68 percent of adults in the U.S. owned smartphones and 45 percent owned tablets, according to Pew Research Center. Per Google, as of October 2015, over half of their searches were coming from mobile devices.
A review of the Internet campaigns of our own dental clients shows that in many cases the number of people visiting their websites on a mobile device exceeds that of computers or laptops. It has become a necessity to have a website that is fully mobile-friendly.
All of our websites are responsive, meaning they adapt to show well on any size device. We can also convert a static website to responsive one. In order to make them easy to navigate, on mobile devices our responsive websites show special headers with navigation, phone, email and map buttons. The website recognizes when it is on a mobile device and the layout adjusts so that it looks correct. Some responsive sites are designed for desktop first and they don’t reflow well on smaller sites.
